Hands in Motion is pleased to announce the launch of their Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) Service for Deaf and Hard of Hearing consumers and consumers who speak another language nationwide

What’s better than having top-notch, highly qualified live interpreters? Access to those same interpreters 24/7 regardless of where you are, what time it is or what you need them for. Hands in Motion launches today their on-demand Video Remote Interpreting across the entire United States for both Deaf and non-English speaking clients. “We are proud to be able to break into this market of interpreting without sacrificing the quality of our work. We are excited to be able to offer last-minute interpreting services to those at the most critical times. For example, a consumer in a hospital Emergency Room should not have to wait for an interpreter to arrive before being seen. We know that with our services readily available, equal access will continue to be provided,” states Leslie Puzio, Operations Director.

Hands in Motion’s one-stop interpreting solution includes VRI for ASL and Spanish, as well as Over the Phone Interpreting (OPI) for 175 spoken languages from a single device. Hands in Motion plans to add ten additional VRI spoken languages this year.

This service is perfect for those settings where a Sign Language or Spoken Language Interpreter is not available or when the amount of time needed is minimal and VRI would be better utilized. Hands in Motion offers both last minute and pre-scheduled VRI services. “We are excited to offer cutting edge technology by offering VRI nationally. Our dedication to high quality interpreting and equal access is now available remotely. We are now able to serve the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community instantaneously and cost effective in every corner of America,” states Jeremy Mann, CEO and President.
